“Always Running” The book “Always Running” is about a teenager who witnesses murder, shootings, and street crimes. This book has been banned because of explicit language, violence, and some sex scenes. It has been banned in many high schools in CA.

Censorship This book is banned because of the language. For example: “Don’t fuckn’ move” & “Don’t do anything unless I say- you fuckn’ greaser asshole!” Many people think this part is a problem because of the cursing that they do. Parents don’t want their kids reading these types of books.

My Opinion In my opinion I think this is a great book but some parts are too much for me. I do get why this book is banned because of the language & violence. I would let my child read this book because somehow they're going to learn the things that are in the book.
