********Incentive Magazine Motivation Masters WINNER******** Client: Olympus Endoscopy Service Marketing Objective: Convert a predetermined amount of accounts to purchase an Olympus Endoscopy service contract. Tactic: Offer a competitive conversion contest to see who can convert the most accounts and revenue to Olympus Service. Mechanics: DJA developed an exciting and desirable incentive contest for this division of Olympus. The “Fun in the Sun” contest ran from April 2, 2007 through March 31, 2008. Participants were enticed to achieve their conversion goals by being offered and opportunity to win a five-day trip for two to the luxurious Ginn Hammock Beach Resort, on the ocean in Palm Coast Florida. DJA worked closely with the Olympus team to select the destination and create the materials to communicate the program to the field. Once the winners were announced, DJA put together a customized rewards kit for all winners. The kit included all the information they needed for their trip including a leather document wallet, brochure, which outlined each day’s itinerary, flight information, and leisure activities including golf, spa treatments and tennis. DJA also staffed and Olympus Hospitality Desk located in the hotel lobby for the entire period of the program. Results: The program exceeded service contract expectations by 140% equating to millions of incremental dollars. In addition, Olympus has signed on with DJA for 2009 and has already secured the destination for next year’s program!
