Course Outline Assessment This course focuses on understanding the different theatre styles and playmaking techniques. Students learn the skills of creating performances, becoming characters and building a relationship with an audience according to different theatre styles. The course also focuses on the technical aspects of a performance including the stagecraft elements of lighting, costume, sound, set design. Topics Covered Group Performance -Students are given a script to work with and are to create a performance of that script. The interpretation of the script and the performance is up to the ensemble and each member of the group takes on a stagecraft element to be in charge of.
