Good communication skills Shake hands with interviewer Eye contact (but not too much) Smile Active listening Evidence of teamwork (leadership and team player) Commitment Enthusiasm for medicine Ability to balance academic success with co-curricular activities Ethical scenarios: process of thinking about it > definitive answer Be yourself!

On the day Dress smartly (but comfortably) Be organised the night before- documentation, packed lunch if needed, timings and travel arrangements Try to relax! Chat to the other applicants waiting for their interviews if this helps put you at ease MMIs: When you finish one station, put it out of your mind and move on. During the interview consider your responses to questions, take some time to think about your answer Try to avoid “umm” and “like”
