Classroom Rules and Procedures. If you’re not in your seat by the sound of the tardy bell, it is considered a tardy.

Classroom Rules and Procedures. Once you’re in, you’re in! Be sure to have all needed materials BEFORE you come to class. Once you’re in, there’s no leaving until dismissal. Some exceptions do apply.

Classroom Rules and Procedures. If you’re not in your seat by the sound of the dismissal bell, you’re last to leave the classroom.

Classroom Rules and Procedures. Come to class prepared Be in your seat by the sound of the bell. Violation of this rule is an automatic tardy REMAIN seated (ask for permission to leave your seat) Respect everybody and everything NO BEATING OR TAPPING!

Classroom Rules and Procedures. Class jobs will be given (here is your chance to earn weekly Hawk Cards!) The person given the job “Paper Distributer/Collector” will pass out papers, collect papers and put them in their appropriate bins Homeroom (White) 1st (Red) 3rd (Orange) 4th (Yellow) 5th (Green) 6th (Blue)

Classroom Jobs… Paper distributers/collectors (collects and passes out worksheets, notes and graded papers) Door/Light people Mr. & Ms. Clean (straightens out the desks, makes sure the floors are cleared, collects lost items, etc.) Errand Runner (goes to office, another teacher for information, keeps sub informed on classroom procedures, etc.) Attendance Clerk Time Keeper

Classroom Rules and Procedures. Try to speak as much Spanish as possible! Announced and unannounced quizzes will be given throughout the year. BE SURE TO ALWAYS STUDY VOCABULARY AND GRAMMAR! Do your best at everything you do! If you’re unsure about something, do not hesitate to ask questions!

Behavior Infractions (how it was handled) C – counselor D – detention M – moved seating O – other P – phone call R – referral W – warning S – silent lunch

Behavior Management Behavior infractions will be documented in the “comments” portion of Synergy. The number of the violation, the date of the infraction and how the situation was handled will all be included in the comments section. Example: 3 – 8/23 W, 3 stands for “unkind to others,” which occurred on August 23rd and W means the student received a warning.
