ADDIE: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation Develops a clear understanding of the "gaps" between the desired outcomes or behaviors, and the audience's existing knowledge and skills. Design The design phase documents specific learning objectives, assessment instruments, exercises, and content. Development The actual creation of learning materials is completed in the development phase. During implementation, these materials are delivered or distributed to the student group. Implementation After delivery, the effectiveness of the training materials is evaluated. Evaluation

ASSURE: Analyze, State, Select, Utilize, Require and Evaluation Analyze learners Analyze learner’s general characteristics, entry competencies and learning styles Based on analysis, state objectives in terms of Audience, Behavior, ,Condition and Degree State Objectives Method: a lecture, group work, a field trip, etc. Media: photos, multimedia, video, a computer? Materials, getting an outside resource to provide materials, modifying something you already have? Select Methods, Media, & Materials Utilize Methods, Media, & Materials Implementation of the choices Require Learner Participation How you are going to get each learner "actively” and individually involved in the lesson. Ex: games, group work, presentations, skit, etc. Evaluate and Revise Evaluate student performance, Evaluate media components: Evaluate instructor performance:
