New Accountability System Interface Organized by Institution Type: Public Universities Public Health-Related Institutions Public 2 year Community Colleges 2 & 4 Year Career Schools Updated Homepage 60x30 Attainment Completion Marketable Skills Student Debt Sector-Specific Interactive Definitions Additional Reports (e.g. topics of interest)

Measure Development Process to Date THECB staff proposed aligned measures. [February] Convened stakeholders by sector. [March/April] Cross check with LBB and Gates measures. Institutional input incorporated. [July] Revised measures sent out for comment. [August] Comments incorporated. Measures revised. [September]

Proposed Measures: CTCs Sector 60x30 Goal Key Measures Contextual Measures Public Community, Technical and State Colleges Attainment (1 statewide measure) Completion 5 (6 statewide measures) 10 Marketable Skills 3 (only 1 currently defined) 2 Student Debt 4 Additional Measures 1

Discussion Items: CTCs Undergraduate Degrees to At-Risk Students (Key): deleted Students Enrolled in Dual Credit (C3): new measure, methodology mirrors Students Receiving Pell (C2) Graduates as a Percent of Total FTE Enrollment (C6): methodology defined with a focus on FTE, excluding dual credit. Clarify different between this measure and Graduation Rate (K3) Licensure Pass Rate (Contextual): deleted. Certification and Licensure Pass Rate (C1): maintained with link to detailed licensure report Average Debt of Graduates with Loans (C1): total, same institution, other institution breakouts Percent of Attempted SCH Completed (C2): methodology focuses on SCH, not courses. Completion and successful completion shown Note for Julie: On the second-to-last bullet item, take the opportunity to remind everyone why we include debt from all institutions and why we include parent loans. THECB wants a comprehensive view of debt which appropriately complements the institutional calculations institutions are doing for LBB. On the last bullet, we updated the name “Average Debt of Graduates with Loans” base on institutional input.

Informational Items: CTCs Working/Enrolled within One Year after Award (K3): this measure counts any job, not within field related to award
