Cheer Season – unlike any other activity Commitment is a must!! May – March (very long – but fun!!) Quitting – no spring activities No substitutes – be at all practices for the full amount of time Must have physical form completed. Some will need updated before season is over.

Do not use a punishment because that affects the entire team. Cannot choose another activity or practice over cheer, like driver’s education, rec. sports, etc. & excessive absences will result in dismissal. Games will fall before a holiday. Grades Important: Tutoring required if struggling Tutoring will be offered during the school day. 2:30 Students must be with their coach or in tutoring, not roaming the halls.

Practices (Mandatory) - benched if missing practice Drama/Bullying/Attitude blatant or underlying – not tolerated; 3 demerits & will be removed. 2 Demerits – Varsity girls will not receive a letter Mandatory, schedule dr. appt. around practice times. If present at school and miss practice must have a doctor’s note. Cheerleaders can be moved from Varsity to JV or JV to Varsity
