What is NSCS? NSCS is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1994 on the campus of The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. NSCS is a member of the Association of College Honor Societies and is a recognized organization at over 330 campuses across the country.

Welcome to NSCS? An Honors Organization That Recognizes And Elevates High Achievers We invite high-achieving first- and second-year college students that rank in the top 20% of their class. NSCS provides career and graduate school connections, leadership and service opportunities and gives out a million dollars in scholarships annually.

Senior Sendoff All members are welcome to attend but space is limited. Saturday, April 22nd from 12pm-2pm at Chili’s Grill and Bar Address: 21078 Saint Andrews Boulevard, Boca Raton, FL 33433 Contact Ariana Nemeth, VP of Events, at anemeth2014@fau.edu if you have any questions or if you are a graduating senior for the Spring or Summer semester. All members are welcome to attend but space is limited. In order to attend, please register at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/nscs-senior-send-off-tickets-32707806931 and the password is FAU1. You may register yourself and one additional guest. You will receive 20 points for attending this event. DEADLINE TO REGISTER IS TONIGHT( April 18th) AT MIDNIGHT

Let us know if you would like to volunteer! Go Geek Tabling Event: April 19th Tabling in the Breezeway Tabling Event Time: 10 am – 2 pm – Earn 15 pts per hour for volunteering Let us know if you would like to volunteer!

Community Service Food Drive for FAU's Beyond Food Program. Runs all semester long Acceptable donations: shelf-stable dairy, canned food, and other non-perishable items Drop off donations in the Lead and Serve office (room 224 right above the breezeway, SS-8) At the office, fill out a volunteer sheet indicating you are with NSCS. This is how you will receive your 15 points.

Stay Active 🌟 In order to remain active in Owl Central: You must have a minimum of 75 points & purchase the FAU NSCS shirt The winner with the most points will receive a surprise gift!

FAU NSCS T-SHIRTS You are now able to purchase your FAU NSCS member shirt for $15 @ https://squareup.com/store/fau-national-society-of-collegiate-scholars. The shirt will be available for purchase until Saturday, March 18th and will be available for pick up starting in April. This shirt is a one time purchase and everyone is welcome to purchase additional shirts so friends and family can represent our organization. Members need to have a shirt and 75 points per semester in order to be considered an active member. If you purchased a FAU NSCS shirt last year (Spring 2016 semester) and have not picked it up yet please email kmedley2013@fau.edu. You have until March 15th to pick up your shirt.
