God’s Pre-Revealed Mystery 1 Corinthians 2:6-16

Paul does teach wisdom. It is only for mature believers. It is very different than conventional wisdom. It is secret, hidden and revealed. It is for their glory.

Only Christians can know this wisdom. Their rulers did not know this wisdom. God has revealed wonderful things for His people. This wisdom can only be known through the Spirit. It is passed on to disciples.

Natural wisdom is not Spiritual wisdom. Spiritual wisdom is foolish to the natural man. Christians judge all things. Christians are only judged by God. Christians have the mind of Christ.

What does that mean to us?

1 Corinthians 2:12 “Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might understand the things freely given us by God.”

We teach wisdom. Are you mature enough to learn God’s wisdom? Which wisdom do you follow? God’s wisdom is what’s best for you!

God’s wisdom is exclusive. World rulers have no clue. Following God gives us wonderful blessings. Only Christians will understand. The social gospel does not work. We must be discipled and disciple.

The two sides are very different. God’s ways are foolish to unbelievers. We do judge. Nobody can judge us, but God. Use God’s judgment!
