Camp Forrest General Patton brought the 2nd Armored Division here to train.

Camp Forrest In 1942, Camp Forrest became a POW camp. Because of the camp, Tullahoma’s population increased from 4,500 before the war to 75,000 at the end of it. Soldiers camped out in fields, and cars had to drive at night with their lights off.
