Napa Cellars BRAND HISTORY FEATURES AND BENEFITS COMPETITIVE SET Founded in Oakville in 1976, Napa Cellars has crafted acclaimed wines in the classic Napa Valley style for more than 40 years. This enduring wine style is rooted in the early influence of Napa Valley icons Koerner Rombauer and Rich Frank, who owned Napa Cellars from 1996 to 2007. Purchased by the Trinchero family in 2007 as a pillar of its growing luxury wine portfolio. Award-winning varietals that capture the classic, unmistakable style of Napa Valley, with rich, ripe fruit, balanced acidity and carefully selected oak. Winemaker Joe Shirley, a UC Davis graduate, has 20 years of winemaking experience including two harvests at Sonoma-Cutrer and has been making Napa Cellars wines for a decade. Long-term investments in our Napa Valley estate vineyards, and those of our longstanding grower partners, provide us with the highest quality fruit for our wines. Our wines are predominately single-varietal, giving consumers the true varietal expression they expect. Consumer research indicates our brand is perceived as established, classic, approachable and delicious.2 Napa is in our name; we are the only Top 50 luxury and super luxury brand1 to own this enviable trademark. Our Oakville tasting room brings our unique story to consumers in the heart of Napa Valley. Napa Cellars delivers an incredible combination of Napa Valley quality and value.
