Third session: objectives Analyze success stories (video and written) on LSE presented as OER according to provided questions; Deepen knowledge on LSE through practical exercises; Develop LSE idea; Outline an action plan on LSE

Questions for discussion Are the stories inspirational? If yes, why? If not, why? Is the content enough for getting full idea of the process of business development? Which story is the most appealing to you? Why? Is it a realistic example to be implemented by you? What would you do differently? What kind of LSE would you be interested in starting?

Analysis of different stories What encouraged the person to start his/her business? Can you evaluate the entrepreneur‘s talent, ability, way of life? What problems has the entrepreneur encountered? How did he deal with the problems? What financial resources were necessary to start and run a business? What marketing strategies did he/her use to promote their services and products? How has their quality of life improved? What personal and social competences have been enlighted? What are their future plans? How would you use the experience from success stories in your life? What would I do differently?

Recommendations for Developing an Action Plan Step 1- Identify your strengths (talents, abilities, interests, personal traits) which may be useful for your future business Step 2 – Briefly describe your Lifestyle idea Step 3 – Describe how you will market your business including various communication tools and channels Step 4 – Provide a detailed profile of your ideal customer (it will help you to save time and money Step 5 – Identify the necessary financial and human recourses for completing each step of the action plan Step 6 – Fill in the “To do list”

Homework Deepen knowledge studying the self-study material and success stories on-line Based on the analysis of success stories and following the recommendations, prepare an individual action plan on your LSE business idea Prepare to present your action plan during the next face-to-face session
