Presentation transcript:

ALMA Snow was gracefully sprinkling and calmly dropping on a dull, deserted town. An excited young girl called Alma was joyfully playing and running energetically down a long, eerie lane. When Alma came across a chalkboard, she curiously wondered “How come there’s loads of names on it? Perhaps I’ll write my name on it too” mumbled Alma reaching for the chalk. On top of the ledge, Alma picked up the chalk and wrote in cursive writing as the chalk SCREEEEEEEECHED!! against the chalkboard. Standing back, Alma stared at her name. Abruptly, an eerie doll slowly twisted and strangely emerged up behind Alma in a shop window. Whirling around, Alma examined the doll. Approaching the doll, Alma gazed at an identical doll to her inside a frozen shop window. After a while, Alma realised she was staring at herself in doll form. How was the doll just like her? Feeling perplexed, like a man who won a race but got no medal, Alma walked over to the door. Alma tried to open the rusty door. It wouldn’t budge! Stomping away from the brown door, Alma threw a snowball at it in frustration. Behind Alma, the rusty door opened with a loud creak. Turning around, Alma walked over to the brown door and peeped in cautiously. Slowly opening the door, Alma walked in with a face full of interest. All around Alma were dolls of all different sorts. “WOW! Look at all these dolls” Alma muttered as she gazed at all the beautiful dolls around her. When Alma spotted her doll on a wooden table, she got really excited. Walking over to the doll, Alma stepped on something hard. Staring down, Alma noticed a boy doll clad in old fashioned clothes on a tricycle. Abruptly, the boy doll started cycling in Alma’s pale hand. As quick as a cheetah at full speed, Alma dropped the doll on the floor. Quickly heading for the door, the doll tried to get out the door which closed just in time. BUMP!! BUMP!! went the boy doll as it kept banging on the door. When Alma looked up at the wooden table her doll wasn’t there. Glancing around, Alma tried to find her doll. Finally spotting the doll on a brown shelf, Alma walked over to the shelf. How did it get up there? Climbing up the shelf, Alma took her beige glove off with her mouth. At the top of the shelf, Alma slowly reached out to touch the doll and.... A few moments later, Alma was nowhere to be seen but the doll she had just touched was moving its eyes. Did she just get sucked into that doll? Suddenly, another doll emerged from the ground in a red dress... Cathal B
