Background In 2004 INTOSAI adopted its 2005-10 Strategic Plan, which identifies 4 Strategic Goals: Accountability and Professional Standards; Institutional Capacity Building; Knowledge Sharing and Knowledge Services; Model International Organization. INTOSAI has set up 4 standing committees referring to strategic goals. INTOSAI WGEA and Regional Working Groups

Background (cont.) The INTOSAI WGEA has the mandate to Help SAIs gain a better understanding of the specific environmental auditing issues; Facilitate exchange of information and experiences among SAIs; Publish guidelines and other informative materials. INTOSAI WGEA and Regional Working Groups
