Motorcycle accidents are increasing every day Motorcycle accidents are increasing every day. Some are not that serious but some of them can cause serious injury and at times life threats.

Common types of vehicle accidents we see these days are:

Head On Collisions Typical cause of head-on collision is when a vehicle inadvertently comes in the path of another vehicle. This usually occurs on the roads with no separate lanes marked for opposite directions. This type of accidents can damage the engine and can also cause injury or death to the driver.

Single-Vehicle Collisions This type of accident occurs when only single vehicle on the road has a collision without involving any other vehicle. Reason for this type of accident is over-speeding and careless driving. At times the reason could be some obstacles on the road.

Rear-End Collisions This type of accident is most likely to happen when one vehicle is not moving and another moving vehicle hits from the back. Common at traffic signal or near stop sign board, where one vehicle stops but the one coming behind fails to stop in a timely manner.

Pedestrian Involved Accidents Generally pedestrian is involved in an accident when he or she is trying to cross the road and the coming vehicle is also not able to notice it.

Collisions Due to Blind Spots Blind spots happen when the driver is not able to make out if there can be another vehicle coming in his way or not. This can happen while backing out a car from parking place or while changing lanes and in hilly regions where you have blind turns with narrow roads.

Collisions Involving Multiple Vehicles Such accidents usually happen on highways when there is bad weather and it becomes difficult to control the vehicles. This is also possible on busy streets with high speed limits.

Collision Due to Distracted Driver Many accidents occur due to complete negligence of the driver. Cell phones and other communication devices and also the co-passengers can be the cause of the distraction.
