ESPANJALAISTEN VIERAILU ESPAÑOLES EN FINLANDIA 16.2.-22.2.2017

THURSDAY 16.2 Our Spanish quests flew at six in the morning when the first flight left to Madrid from Santiago de Compostela airport. They travelled by three different planes and landed on Kuopio at 19.15. We were waiting for our guests at the Kuopio airport. Then we took them to our homes. Everybody was very tired and went straight to sleep and to prepare to the first school day at our school.

FRIDAY 17.2 On Friday we had a friendship celebration. There were our quests videos, a little play and songs. Also the quests were able to perform in the Sofia-song and tell their thoughts about friendship. In the afternoon we visited Puijo Tower, but the weather was so foggy we could hardly see anything.

In the city center we had about an hour before our guided . In the city center we had about an hour before our guided   tour at the museum of natural sciences. We visited a church and Kuopio market hall. 

                SATURDAY 18.2. On Saturday we went to Kasurila ski center. Our guests tried downhill skiing. 

Some of us also went snowshoeing. We made food on the fire. Some of us also went snowshoeing.

SUNDAY 19.2 On Sunday we had a host's day. Families planned the day. We went for example shopping in Matkus shopping centre, visiting Kuopio Ice Maraton, watching motorbike race and hanging out with the others. In the evening we were at Lippumäki building snowmans, sledding down the hills and hanging out at Mette's house.

MONDAY 20.2  On Monday we had a normal school day and after that we stayed in our home economy class and baked Finnish food. In the evening everyone was at Eevi's house spending time together.

TUESDAY 21.2 On Tuesday we were at school from 9:00 to 14:45. Some of us had P.E. and we went skiing.  This was the last night so we went to eat in a restaurant called  Rax and then to the party at Technopolis 7th Heaven. The Santa Claus also visited our party.

WEDNESDAY 22.2. Wednesday was our last day. In the morning we made PowerPoint –presentation at school and then left to the airport.
