Biography of Bethany. Bethany was born on 8 February, 1990 in Hawaii. Bethany was fond of surfing with her father and mother.

Her family. Father Tom, mother Cherie, brothers Tim and Noah.

On 13 October, 2003 Bethany was attacked by a tiger shark On 13 October, 2003 Bethany was attacked by a tiger shark. As a result, Bethany lost her left arm. Bethany was in hospital for a month .

Bethany’s parents and friends were sure that she would no longer go in for surfing, but ten weeks later Bethany was already on the board surfing and training hard!
