Xu Beihong Xu was an outstanding(卓越的) Chinese artist. He was well-known for his historical paintings ,portraits (肖像),and pictures of animals,but he was best known for his horse paintings.

Qi Baishi Qi was one of the top artists of the present age. He is known for his painting of flowers and birds.
