Muscular System Skeletal System Circulatory System Nervous System Lymphatic/Immune System Allows the body to move Provides support and protects the internal organs Supplies oxygen and nutrients to the cells and removes waste from body Controls the body and senses external stimuli. Protects the body against infection. Respiratory System Endocrine System Digestive System Excretory System Reproductive System Provides oxygen to the blood. Releases the hormones that direct many body processes. Takes in food and converts it into nutrients which are absorbed into the blood. Expels waste. The urinary system produces urine and expels it from the body. Produces sperm in males and eggs in females, and brings these cells together to produce a baby.

Task Find an image of each body system and then: Label the main parts of the body system and write a short description of the main function of each system (1-2 sentences minimum) Choose 5 Body Systems that you would like to learn more about and then: Write a paragraph identifying the main parts of the system and a detailed description of the main functions of the system.
