Models of delivery Flexible offer (allows max entitlement to be claimed) e.g. child attends 25 hrs per wk across the year 25 hrs x 51 weeks/3 = 425 hrs per term. Models of delivery Stretched offer model is for families who ONLY want to take up their free entitlement and not pay for additional hours. i.e. up to 11 hrs per wk / 51 wks per year (15 hrs) or 22.25 hrs per wk / 51 wks per year (30 hrs) up to 11.75 hrs per wk / 48 wks (15 hrs) or 23.75 hrs per wk / 48 wks (30 hrs) Childcare Strategy Service

Additional charges LAs should ensure that parents are not charged any fee for their child’s funded place. If providers charge for any goods or services, this must not be a condition of a child taking up a place. Goods or services might include meals, optional extra activities or additional hours. Processes / systems / models of delivery may need amending One of the roles of trial is to assess potential demand for models of delivery and their feasibility Need to feed back to DfE to influence roll out and guidance Partnership working will support flexible delivery Correct Parent Declaration must be completed correctly at all settings Billing to be clear and inline with guidance.
