Myth

Definition of Myth A Myth is a traditional or legendary story, usually concerning some being , hero , or event, with or without a natural explanation. These stories express the beliefs of values of a group of people. They are often considered to explain how things came to be and the reason the world is the way it is.

MythAuthor writer and lecturer, best known for his work in Joseph Campbell was an American mythologist, writer and lecturer, best known for his work in comparative mythology and religion. He was born March 26, 1904 in White Plains, New York. His philosophy is often summarized by his phrase: "Follow your bliss.“ His first mythological book was published in 1943. His view of mythology showed in his books , describing that throughout history mankind has held a belief that all life comes from and returns to another dimension. Joseph died on October 30,1987 from cancer.
