Welcome to Lebanon!

In the Middle East, a region hostile to the gospel, the Church is in decline. Many Christians have found a safe haven in Lebanon. Small, spiritually diverse and with a rich history, Lebanon is also home to over one million refugees.

The Church in the Middle East needs your support The Church is in decline as Christians flee persecution, war and death threats. Young leaders are leaving the region, training outside the Middle East, never to return.

How is BMS helping? By supporting theological training in the region BMS supports a theological seminary in Lebanon, growing powerful new leaders. Training Christians from across the Middle East and North Africa The seminary has around 60 students every year, hailing from countries such as Egypt, Yemen, and Syria. Enabling access to leadership training BMS provides scholarships for four students, who otherwise could not afford the training.

Please pray for and support these young leaders Pray for Christians throughout the Middle East, that they know God’s faithfulness at this time of extreme hardship. Please pray for the theological students, that they are inspired by his Word. Pray for those who are graduating from the seminary, that they can be an authentic witness in their own country.
