Hinduism Hindus believe in the transfer of one's soul after death into another body. This produces a continuing cycle of birth, life, death and rebirth through their many lifetimes. It is called samsara. Karma is the accumulated sum of ones good and bad deeds. Karma determines how you will live your next life. Through pure acts, thoughts and devotion, one can be reborn at a higher level.

Buddhism Dharmachakra

Buddhism “Non”-theistic, don’t believe in a specific god People who practice this religion are called Buddhists It was started sometime around 600 BC It was started by the first “Buddha”, Siddhartha Gautama. There have been 28 Buddhas

Buddhism It is the fourth largest religion in the world The holiest city is Lopburi, Nepal (the birthplace of Buddha) They use the Tipitaka, the teachings of Buddha

Buddhism One fundamental belief of Buddhism is often referred to as reincarnation -- the concept that people are reborn after dying. In fact, most individuals go through many cycles of birth, living, death and rebirth. In Buddhism, the purpose of life is to end suffering. The Buddha taught that humans suffer because we continually strive after things that do not give lasting happiness. A person can be reborn many times until they eventually reach “Nirvana”.

(Most Common) The soul travels to any one of the four states of existence after the death depending on its karmas.
