The purpose of the society is to uphold academic standards and promote further interest in academic achievements. Cadets will have the opportunity to earn the KHAS Badge and Cord. There will be a KHAS meeting this Friday, August 26 th , in Room 954 on Main Campus Meeting is open to all upper-class cadets who possess a 3.0 GPA (weighted) And ALL FRESHMEN CADETS ARE WECOME!!! If you have any questions pertaining to the meeting or the club, please contact C/1st Lieutenant Amy Bennett at amarylis.bennett888@gmail.com Meeting will begin at 1430 and will end around 1530 in 954. If you need to leave early for any reason, inform C/ Bennett and she will make arrangements to discuss with you in regards to what you missed.
Color Guard For any cadets interested in joining color guard, there will be an informational meeting after school tomorrow, August 23rd, from 2:30-3:30 in room 954. Food will be available to any cadets who attend. There will be practice after school on Thursday, August 25th, at the 900 building from 2:30-3:30 for the team designated for the color guard on Friday, August 26th. An F-22 aircraft from the 192nd Air Wing was temporarily grounded on June 11 after crew members at Joint Base Langley-Eustis in Virginia discovered nearly 20,000 bees hanging from the jet's exhaust nozzle following flight operations.
