Educational Visit Keep a Travel Journal. During the trip you will be given the opportunity to sketch some of the sights and monuments. You will be asked to complete approximately 2 per day. You could…. Add in receipts and tickets. Write what you do each day. Leave space to add your photos in later. Add quotes and anecdotes. You will be given a small sketchbook and sketching pencils. You can also bring other materials with you, but remember you have to carry these. If you want to prepare some pages with colour… visit Miss Woodward’s classroom (22) on Friday 18th November.

Clothing – Layers is the name of the game! You must bring: sensible/comfortable warm shoes warm, weatherproof jacket warm jumper and thick socks scarf and gloves LAST YEAR IT RARELY GOT ABOVE 1-2 DEGREES C

MEDICAL FORMS Fill in now or take one home tonight Must be handed back by tomorrow! You cannot travel without the green forms! Any medication must be handed to me on day of travel in a labelled plastic bag. thanks

Behaviour You are representing the school at all times: Flights/airports – no jokes or comments about bombs, terrorists etc… It could cause us all problems. Respect – war, nazi jokes etc… are not tolerated in Germany. Using trains –listening carefully to instructions Hotel – lights out 10.00pm Restaurants – be aware of others around you In public – impeccable behaviour will be expected

Sweets/food They sell lovely sweets in Germany and the food in Germany is excellent, so please do not bring hand luggage full of sweets! I would encourage you to try as many different things as possible, whilst in Berlin!

Personal Belongings Do bring a pencil case for your journals Ipads – leave at home! Phones – be aware of roaming costs and avoid calling home. Phones /mp3 players are not permitted during the day around Berlin. Cameras – the cheaper the better 
