The Thing We Neglect The Most Our Spiritual lives often take the back burner If something is more fun, we set aside our Christian duties If something seems more urgent, we set aside . . . If something seems too hard, we set aside . . . If we just don’t feel like it, we set aside . . . But if we really need God for something, it’s a whole different story!

The Thing We Neglect The Most The danger of neglecting our Spiritual lives Our conscience slowly becomes desensitized – Eph. 4:17-24; Romans 1:18-22; 1 Thessalonians 5:19 We become less and less involved in spiritual things as we become more and more involved in the worldly things – 1 John 2:15-17; 1 Timothy 6:6-10 And then one day we wake up lost! – Luke 15:11-32

Church is God’s Will – Ephesians 4:11-16

How To Live A Spiritually Balanced Life Fellowship with other Christians daily The early Christians met together daily – Acts 2:42-47 We need the encouragement of each other – Hebrews 3:12-19

How To Live A Spiritually Balanced Life Pray unceasingly We need God for everything – 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 So pray about everything! – Ephesians 6:18

How To Live A Spiritually Balanced Life Do the work of the Lord relentlessly Never be lacking in zeal . . . – Romans 12:11 Make the most of every opportunity! – Colossians 4:2-6 When we make our Spiritual lives the most important thing, God will bring every other aspect of our lives into Balance
