Dental School Mock Interviews! Get into groups of 3-4 to share answers. Take it seriously – but have fun with it too It’s good practice to see what you don’t know / need to think about. Third, we could do a sort of mock interview session, where we show some questions on the projector that might pop up at dental school interviews, and we have our club members get in groups of 3-4 to share their answers to the question. This could serve as the social part of the meeting, and take a good 25 minutes. Then we'd have some time left over for
Tell me about yourself. What do you like to do with your free time? Why do you want to do dentistry? What sort of hand-eye coordination experience do you have? What is something that you don’t like about dentistry? What is an important quality that you think a dentist should have? What is your biggest strength? What is your biggest weakness? How do you feel about group work? What would you do if you knew some fellow dental students werecheating with an exam copy? If you could meet one person, dead or alive, who would you meet? What do you do when you’re stressed? If you could be an animal, which one would you be and why?
Experiences you have will give you something to talk about – that’s part of why we volunteer and shadow – to put us in situtations where we can learn and experience!
Dinner Social at Shuang Cheng Restaurant Good times were had. Food was eaten. I learned that imitation crab is a thing that exists. Fun times!

Collaborative Healthcare Event Date: Wednesday March 30th from 6pm-9pm in 312 Bruininks (STSS) Hall Focuses on bringing pre-health students together to discuss the roles that different healthcare providers play when caring for the health of their patients. Hear a presentation about the prominence of inter-professional healthcare. Work through a case study with other pre-health students and a panel of professionals. Eat free dinner!
Advice Sharing Extravaganza! Advice Sharing -- Upperclassmen share their best advice, lessons learned, which teacher to take and avoid, etc to underclassmen in the club :)
Dinner with Dentists – April 18th Mississippi Room – Coffman 6:30 pm – 7:45pm-ish ~$15 a head (free for dentists)
We need your help getting dentists! … We have 2 right now… General Dentists and Specialties, both are welcome! Still determining pricing but will be free for dentists, and for us pre-dents probably about $15 bucks a head (we are paying for the dentists who are graciously giving us their time)
