Contextual References Contextual Reference is the connection between a word or a phrase in the text and a pronoun or an adjective that follows. The Contextual Reference items usually refer back to the words that have been used. However, they may also refer to the ideas that will be stated. A computer , like any other machine, is used because it does certain jobs better and more efficiently than humans
