Introduction Power is transmitted and distributed by the distribution network. The system has both H.T. and L.T. networks for distribution of power. 33 KV 11 KV H.T. voltage 3.3 KV 415 V L.T. voltage

Continued…. Power is supplied to various OCS,GCS installations. Within OIL township , it distribute the power to places like RCE office , Bihutoli , R&D ,Oil market , Zaloni club etc. Power is also supplied for area lighting , street lighting with in OIL township. It has a total of 103 no of sub stations.

Continued…. The network uses both overhead lines as well as underground cables for power distribution. Currently , approximately 70 KMs of overhead lines are being used for power distribution. The network is supplying power to areas within a radius of 20 KMs from Duliajan.

Power supply schemes To provide power to various installations which are not within a close range, we are using a 33 KV ring. This ring includes sub-stations like – OCS 2 OCS 3 PONTOON WELL 80 Loads drawn from this ring – OCS – 8 GCS -8 GCS-6 OCS-6 OCS-1 etc.

3.3 KV ring constitute the DOMESTIC RING MAIN This ring includes the following sub-stations – SS-1 SS-2 SS-3 SS-4 Various loads drawn from this ring are – VIP’s Bungalow Zaloni club Duliajan club Zaloni guest house Medical Bihutoli Qtrs etc

Power is also supplied with 11 KV ring. This ring includes various sub-stations like – SS ‘D’ DPS SS GCS -4 OCS -4/SS-E We also have some radial 11 KV feeders – Tingri feeder LPG SS-6 Various loads are – MTDC NIA RCE office Qtrs/B’lows/schools/Oil Market/SBI/Industrial Area

NIA- MTDC power supply system and it’s proposed modification MTDC sub-station is fed from one feeder only. Fault occurrence is high in this feeder. Alternate supply source is required to maintain power reliablity in MTDC area.
