Analysing Film Trailers Moving Image Analysis Skills RED

Aims & Objectives What will I do today? Why? Analyse (in groups) a film trailer for genre, cinematography, representation, audience and narrative Why? To build on and improve existing analysis skills To learn exam skills To share your knowledge and understanding with your group / class

1) Find a trailer Go to: http://www.pocket-lint.com/news/131995-top-films-to-look-forward-to-in-2015-here-are-all-the-must-see-movie-trailers and select a trailer to analyse Make sure nobody else has chosen it (there are plenty to go around) You may need me to unblock Openhive

2) Create a PowerPoint with pages titled: Genre Cinematography Representations Narrative Audience Analyse the trailer with as much information/explanation for each as you can You may wish to pause and use screen captures as supporting evidence.
