iPad 4 INSTRUCTION I'm about to sum up a 4 year journey of failure, frustration, struggle, despair, hope, more despair, a little hope, and then finally triumph... During this time I will show you how to set-up a wireless network in your classroom so you can mirror your iPad for instruction 😊

I created a network piggybacking off the schools network... I plugged the AirPort Extreme into an Ethernet port in my classroom. The network you create is actually working of the schools WIRED network so if the schools wifi goes out your network doesn't... I then created a new network and password protected it... THE SCHOOL PROXY STILL NEEDS TO BE ENTERED ON THE NEW NETWORK YOU CREATE...

Hooking up the appleTV... The appleTV is an HDMI output... Most newer smart boards and projectors have this input. If they don't they sell adapters that turn it from HDMI to VGA...

Password protect that AppleTV... To prevent your students from mirroring their personnel devices, and playing the latest Jay- Z video during your lesson, assign a password to the appleTV...if students attempt this they will not be able too take over control

Mirroring on the iPad or iPhone...
