Childhood 1925-1941 Malcolm X was born on May 19, 1925 at Omaha Nebraska Was born as Malcolm Little He had a total of 9 siblings. In 1929 his house was burned down Moved many times because of many other violent acts towards his family

Continued….. Louise and Earl Little In 1931 Earl Little (his dad) was killed by a street car The police declared it an accident, but the family knew that a member of the KKK had killed him Later in 1938 Louise Little (his mother) was legally declared insane and put in a mental institution After that his brothers and sister’s were all separated and put into different foster cares

Young Adult 1941-1945 Dropped out of school at the age of 15 because of a comment that his teacher made After living in Boston with his sister he moved to New York City There he became involved in drug dealing, gambling, racketeering, robbery, and steering prostitutes.

Continued…. On 1945 Malcolm X was arrested for larceny, and breaking and entering He was sentenced 8 to 10 years at Massachusetts State Prison In 1948 Malcolm X joined the Nation of Islam He was released from prison on August 7, 1952

Adult Life 1952-1964 Shortly after getting released from prison he changed his last name from Little to X Got married to Betty X and had six children in 1958 During the 1950-1960’s he visited with many world leaders such as Fidel Castro

Assassination 1965 On March of 1964 Malcolm X publicly announces his break from the Nation of Islam In 1964, after he left the Nation of Islam, he began to publically speak against the muslims Later on February 21, 1965, he was assassinated while giving a speech He was shot 16 times and pronounced dead shortly after
