Malcolm X Early Life: Malcolm X was born in Omaha, Nebraska on May 19, 1925. His mother was Louise Little, father Earl Little. He had 8 siblings. He spent his childhood in foster care after his dad died and his mom was sent to a mental care. He went to West Junior High School where he was class president and dropped out of school because he told the teacher he wanted to be a lawyer and she said, “be realistic.”

Malcolm X Malcolm is famous for being a civil rights leader, his speech and being outspoken. He pushed for equal rights. When 21, he was sentenced to prison for burglary and started teachings of Elijah Muhammad leader of the lost-found Nation of Islam known as the Black Muslims. Muhammad’s believed that the white man is the devil with whom blacks cannot live had a strong impact on Malcom.
