Joseph Pickett (1848-1919)
Joseph Pickett Joseph Pickett was born in New Hope, Pennsylvania. He lived in New Hope his entire life. Although he painted a great deal, Picket has only 5 known paintings.
Joseph Pickett Pickett spent most of his life as a carpenter, shipbuilder, carny and storekeeper. He first started painting when he was 65 years old! Pickett was known for his landscape paintings and depictions of towns. Coryell’s Ferry, 1776
