THE ARK OF THE COVENANT

The Israelites left Egypt for about 1 year God loves them & wanted to live among them He instructed Moses to build a special place called the Tabernacle of Meeting The Tabernacle was a moveable tent with moveable furniture

The Tabernacle was at the centre God appeared as a pillar of cloud over the Tabernacle by day & pillar of fire by night The Israelites only moved when the pillar of cloud lifted God gave Moses specific instructions how to build the Tabernacle
