Proposed Timescales Procurement to go live March 2017 Tender period 30 days Evaluation and decisions by end of May 2017 Implementation by July 2017 Introduction of DPS call off DPS 2 years, plus 1 year, plus 1 year
Existing Contracts 2016/17 Care Home Contract expires midnight 8 April 2017 An invitation to extend the Terms and Conditions of 2016/17 contract for 3 up to three months will be made to all contracted providers via email in the next few days. Once the invitation is signed and returned to the Care Home Team the Care Director system will be update to so your home is contracted and new placements can be offered. From the 1 April 2017 all new Care Home Placements will be made via the new central Brokerage Team they will only be contacting homes who are contracted for 2016/17. Brokers will only be able to contact homes that are shown as contracted.
