DEMOCRACY A government by the people. The Greeks made a democracy.

ARISTOCRACY A government controlled by a few wealthy people. The Greeks had a few aristocracy governments.

Philosopher A person who studies truth or knowledge. In ancient Greece philosophers studied truth or knowledge.

Immortal To live forever. In Greece people search for immortality.

Agora An outdoor marketplace in ancient Greece. Greece was filled with Agoras.

Myth A traditional story that may include gods and goddess. There's a myth about Zeus in Greece.

Plague An epidemic of an often fatal disease. Plague is a disease in Greece.
