Key Take Away This webinar will look at each ofthe healthcare revenue management trifecta – coding, billing and documentation and will review key areas of weakness and discuss methods to improve the process. Overview Revenue management continues to be increasingly difficult to manage. No longer are generic coding and weak documentation adequate to receive payment. The ICD-10 reporting flexibility has expired. In order to maintain sufficient revenue, providers and staff must focus on these clinical documentation specialistkey areas that will make or break your bottom line. If one clinical documentation improvement programis weak, the others will be affected and likely result in claims rejections, increasing requests for medical records and inability to adequately support medical necessity. Continued problems not only delays reimbursement, review of your claims submission patterns and clinical documentation improvement certificationmay fall under scrutiny. Why Should You Attend With the expiration of flexibility in claims reporting, providers will be required to submit codes in detail, avoiding unspecified unless there is no alternative.
