Lab Report Jobs to assign: Other jobs to assign: Intro paragraph Lipid test Sugar test Starch test Protein test Conclusion paragraph Each member will write one of the test paragraphs Other jobs to assign: Worksheet Editing/organizing /miscellaneous Include assignment list at end of report Each lab group member will be assigned 2 jobs total

Lab Report We will do our lab Monday and Tuesday. Your typed group lab report will be due on ____________________. It will consist of: Data sheet Lab Report Assignment Chart (which member was responsible for each job assignment)

Today Decide job assignments Work on first page of Lab Report (hypothesis and reagent sections) For the hypothesis section: Substance Lipid? Sugar? Starch? Protein? Milk Apple Juice Oil Flour Water

Lab Safety Do not ingest any of the food samples or the indicator reagents (Biuret, Benedicts, or Iodine) Iodine can/will stain your skin but is not harmful Biuret and Benedicts solutions tend to be harmless but can irritate the skin; be sure to wash off/clean any spills
