Ira S. Rosenbloom, CPA (LR), is the chief operating executive of Optimum Strategies, LLC, a consulting firm focused on helping accounting firms improve their options for business continuity through enhanced profitability, firm-wide accountability, marketplace advantages and practice alignments/combinations.  A long-standing leader in the public accounting firm community, Ira has served as managing partner of a leading mid-size regional firm, practice director for a national firm, regional partner in a national CPA M&A advisory firm and a hands-on consultant to leaders and aspiring leaders of CPA firms. As a result, he has a unique perspective which facilitates practical and viable advantages for the clients of Optimum Strategies  A dynamic, results-oriented professional, Ira is recognized for his ability to motivate internally and externally for strong bottom line results. Using lessons learned from the front lines and interior offices, he leverages his knowledge to help clients improve their profitability, efficiency and strategic accomplishments. Ira carved a track record of creating happier, more successful clients while actively working as a CPA, and that record continues as a consultant to small and medium size CPA firms.  Whether they are seeking to resolve internal dynamics, master the leadership puzzle, better ROI or upgrade the effectiveness of their client service delivery process, Ira’s clients – who generally come on board at the rate of 30-40 per year – come to count on him. Once engaged, Ira brings to bear his success as a former managing partner who consistently developed $750K - $1.5M of new business each year, tripled sales volume during his 15-year tenure; effectively negotiated the retirement of four founding members; and ultimately positioned the practice for a successful merger and integration with a top national firm.  Ira’s CPA firm career path puts him in demand as a speaker, writer and facilitator of corporate retreats. He has presented to industry associations as well as state and national societies. Ira is an active contributing author for The Progressive Accountant and the journals of the PICPA, MACPA and VSCPA. Ira served with distinction on the AICPA’s prestigious Management of an Accounting Practice Committee. He has also served as a Trustee of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants and has directed many initiatives for local chapters.  Now, as a sought-after strategic adviser to small- and medium-sized accounting firms, Ira shares his strengths in practice management, managing partner effectiveness, business intelligence processes, practice enhancement, tax department optimization, next generation leadership development and mastering the merger matrix.  Ira graduated cum laude from New York University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics, and received his Master of Science degree in Accounting with honors from Northeastern University.
