Ruth 2:21-23 – “And Ruth the Moabitess said, He said unto me also, Thou shalt keep fast by my young men, until they have ended all my harvest. And Naomi said unto Ruth her daughter in law, It is good, my daughter, that thou go out with his maidens, that they meet thee not in any other field. So she kept fast by the maidens of Boaz to glean unto the end of barley harvest and of wheat harvest; and dwelt with her mother in law.”
Abiding in the Field of Grace

Ruth’s Work was a Continual Work • God would have us to glean in His field every day until He comes I Corinthians 15:58 – “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not in vain.”
III. Ruth is Inclined to Abide – v.23 A. Ruth’s Work was a Continual Work B. Ruth’s Work was a Consecrated Work • Ruth willingly submitted herself to the field, the future, and her family • We too are to walk in integrity and keep our hearts pure I Peter 1:16 – “Be ye holy for I am holy saith the Lord”
