DRY RUNS 2015 Status and program of the Dry Runs in 2015 Update of the presentation given at LBOC Status and program of the Dry Runs in 2015 (although many things have been already Dry Run in 2014 and tested with beam during the Transfer Line Test, in 2015 we start from scratch) On behalf of V. Kain, M. Solfarolli, D. Jacquet, R. Giachino, M. Albert, L. Drosdal, J. Wenninger, B. Salvachua, D. Nisbet and all Equipment Experts & Experiments Disclaimers: the Dry Runs presented here don’t cover: Machine Protection Tests which are responsibility of MPP + Software Interlock System Tune and orbit Feedbacks (presented at the LMC #203 by Jorg) Vacuum valves control commissioning (by M. Albert) 26/02/2015 Sector Test preparation meeting

Sector Test preparation meeting LBDS Monitoring application LHC Beam Dump System (LBDS) (LBDS only input into BIC loop) LBDS application Arming sequence BETS simulator Inject and dump B1 Inject and dump B2 (to be re-tested) XPOC (still under debugging/test by experts) MCS 26/02/2015 Sector Test preparation meeting

Sector Test preparation meeting Vacuum Status for Sector Test: TI2- LSS2 to LSS3 and TI8-LSS8 to LSS6  All sectors under vacuum! LHCb: The pump down of LHCb was started last Friday (13.02.2015), today (18.02.2015) we have a pressure of 1E-9 mbar and today we’ll re-start the ion pumps in the VELO tank that give an interlock signal to the sector valves. ALICE: The manual valve between the IP2 and the vacuum sector A1L2.X will be open during next week to allow then the injector test. 26/02/2015 Sector Test preparation meeting

Transfer Line circuits Extraction to TT40 & TT60 foreseen this week  good opportunity to test the SPS Extraction BICs The transfer line power converters were switched on 20.02.2015  issues being followed up The only PC we were unable to start was...
