TO ADJUST VOLUME (Handset, speaker or ring volume) Must be changed while using the handset, speaker or as your phone is ringing. Press up or down Volume keys while using the function you wish to change. Save setting by simultaneously pressing both Volume keys. Your LCD screen contrast may also be adjusted using these keys. VOLUME / RING / LCD ADJUSTMENT

PLACING HANDSET OR SPEAKER CALLS Lift Handset or press Dial co-worker extension or for external calls dial 9 + phone number If using your handset you may at anytime press the Speaker key and hang up handset for a speaker call To hang up replace handset or press or (cancel key) HANDSET / SPEAKER CALLS

REMOTE HOLD RETRIEVE (To access a call on hold from an extension other than your own) Lift handset or press Speaker Key Dial feature code of #,#,7 Dial the extension where the caller is currently holding at PLACING A CALL ON HOLD / REMOTE RETREIVAL OF CALL HELD

TRANSFER A CALL TO AN EXTENSION Press Transfer / Conference key Dial you coworker extension. The upper portion of the LCD screen will now change with the options shown below. Press Release Me or if using your handset simply hang up to complete the transfer. To return to the caller you may press the Cancel key before hanging up. TRANSFERING CALLS

CONFERENCE CALLS (8 parties maximum) While speaking to your 1st party Press Transfer/Conference key Dial your 2nd party (Dial 9 first if outside telephone number) If you misdial press the Cancel key to return to the original conference group. Press Transfer/Conference key to join yourself, 1st and 2nd parties together. You will hear a “conference tone” indicating callers are now connected. Repeat above steps to add additional callers into the conference call CONFERENCING CALLS
