Facilitating ICT for E-Government WITSA supports ICT solutions needed to change the way government is organized. 2002 Statement on ICT Use to Enable E-Government. 2003 Statement on Local Government Using ICT. Reviewing Statement on e-procurement guidelines.

E-Government Perspective Vision & Challenge The public sector is facing the challenge of improving efficiency, prductivity, and quality of services. ICT can help governments deal with the challenges. Focus should not be ICT itself. Use of ICT COMBINED WITH organizational change and new skills to improve public services. That is what e-Government is about.
