Last Sunday Morning We Examined The Highly Motivating Evidence Concerning The Charter, The Commission That Could Be No Greater, Of The Church That Belongs To The Lord. Matthew 28:18-20 (KJV) “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. (19) Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.”

(20) Teaching them to observe all things what-soever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”

Matthew 28:18-20 (ASV) “All authority hath been given unto me in heaven and on earth. (19) Go ye therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit:”

Disciples are to make disciples by teaching and baptizing them! (20) Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I commanded you: and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.”

The Challenge? Arouse the burning desire that so filled the first century church to carry the saving message of Christ to every human being on the face of the earth!

Facts Are These! Why a retreat from foreign mission work reckon? More members but less missionaries in foreign mission fields than 20 years ago! Why a retreat from foreign mission work reckon? Is a change in American foreign policy the reason?

Subjective delusion that renders the truth as less than? Why The Failure? Is it because we do not understand that the world without Christ is lost, lost, lost? Subjective delusion that renders the truth as less than?

Annual increase in world’s population? 70,000,000 Why The Failure? Is it because we do not know where the lost are? Annual increase in world’s population? 70,000,000 6% of the world’s population is in America and yet this is where 99% of preachers work!

We have not done too good of a job in Jerusalem! The vast majority of those 99% preach in well established congregations in 8 southern states! Remember Acts 1:8? We have not done too good of a job in Jerusalem! Matthew 5:13-16; I Timothy 3:14-15 Are we lighthouses of the world?

Is it because we are lazy, indifferent, fat? Why The Failure? Is it because we are lazy, indifferent, fat? When the local church is growing the missions will grow! They go hand in hand!

Why The Failure? Is it because our preachers, elders, and congregations are not emphasizing this essential work? Our children, teenagers, young adults, everyone needs to here and see the priority! (Roger example)
