Federalism A system of government in which power is divided between a central government and several regional governments(states).

Federalists v. Anti-federalists

Anti-Federalists 1. Constitution drafted in secrecy. 2. Convention was to change the Articles not scrap them. Constitution took too much power from states. No “Bill of Rights”

Federalists Weak national gov=anarchy Needed strong gov to protect us from other nations. Bill of Rights was not needed but would add it if it meant ratification.
