What is Engineering Management? The Professional Master of Science in Engineering Management (MSEM) Program was designed exclusively for engineers and working professionals in almost any technical field providing the leadership and management skills needed to better navigate the complexities of technology-based organizations. The program focuses on the Enterprise Systems specialty and prepares students for a career in applying enterprise systems concepts and tools to: Operations management Supply chain (product) management Business process improvement Total quality management Engineering project management

Program Overview 1-year, cohort-based, lock-step program 30 credit hours (10 courses) Interdisciplinary, team-based program 7 courses taught by the College of Engineering 2 courses taught by the College of Business 1 course taught by the College of Law Students are admitted in the Spring (January) and Fall (August) All classes are held at FIU at I-75 in Miramar Tuition is $33,000 ($3,300/course)
Program Schedule Program is taught in 5 mini-semesters that meet for ten (10) weeks Mini-Semester Dates: August 19th – October 14th, 2017 October 21st – December 16th, 2017 January 6th – March 10th, 2018 March 17th – May 19th, 2018 May 26th – July 28th, 2018 Saturdays, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Two (2) courses are taught each mini-semester (8:00 am – 12:00 pm,1:00 pm – 5:00 pm)

Admission Requirements and Application Checklist 4-year bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Applicants whose GPA does not meet the minimum requirement may be considered for admission on a case-by-case basis. Majors considered for admissions are Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain Management, MIS, Computer Science, Information Technology, Math & Sciences, and professional schools such as Architecture and Construction Management. Application fee is $30. Official transcripts from each previously attended university in a sealed envelope by the degree-granting institution. Electronic transcripts will not be accepted.
