The Speaking Test has three tasks: A 2-way discussion with the assessor about the themes and topics covered in Units 1-4 (a dialogue) Task 2 A description of a picture, based on the themes and topics covered in Units 1-4 (a description of a picture) Task 3 A response to a particular situation, based on the themes and topics covered in Units 1-4 (a reaction to a situation)
Task 1 You will have a 2-way conversation with the assessor The assessor will ask you five questions about a theme covered in Units 1-4 Answer in full sentences Task Length: 90 seconds

Task 3 You will respond to a situation with 1 or 2 sentences The situation is based on a theme covered in Units 1-4 The situation is usually a speaking skill covered on pages 20, 38, 61 & 83 Task Length: 30 seconds
