About Student Chapters The NAHB Student Chapters began in 1971.
Mission Statement: The NAHB Student Chapters program is dedicated to enriching the educational experience of students by offering them first-hand exposure to the real world of the building industry through NAHB membership, educational programming, and networking opportunities.
Vision Statement: To be recognized and respected as a leading pre-professional membership organization for the building industry for students at high schools, two-year colleges, and four-year colleges/universities.

Builder members connecting to faculty and teachers through service on Industry Advisory Boards and guest lecturers in the classroom.

Residential Construction Management Competition Opportunity to apply skills learned in the classroom to the real world of work. The competition encompasses: a site plan, product design, estimate, schedule, marketing, risk analysis, cash flow, etc.
Chapter Membership Affiliation Process: Connecting a school, local home builders association and student organization through NAHB Student Chapters staff Student Membership Fees: Graduate, Four-Year and Two-Year post-secondary programs are $25/student paid to NAHB High School/Secondary programs are $5/student paid to NAHB
